| A Webelos Scout begins working toward the Arrow of Light rank once he has been active in a Webelos den for at least six months since completing the fourth grade (or for at least six months since becoming 10 years old), earned the Bobcat badge, and earned the Webelos badge. Arrow of Light is the Sixth and highest rank in Cub Scouting. Webelos Scouts who have earned the Arrow of Light Award have also completed all requirements for the Boy Scout badge (except for #9, With your parent or Guardian complete the exercises in the pamphlet "How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse: A Parent's Guide" and #10, Participate in a Scoutmaster Conference). This award is the only Cub Scout badge that can be worn on the Boy Scout uniform when a boy graduates into a troop. Just like in a Webelos Den, the Arrow of Light Webelos Den Leader signs off the completed activities of the Scout. |
