| A very special thank you goes out to everyone who helped to make this year’s Scout Show a success! A very popular event each year at the District Scout Show for Cub Scouts is the Pinewood Derby race. As always, some cars went faster than others and some were more creative than others, but they were all handcrafted with pride and satisfaction. Thomas Griffin and Randy Hoffner of Pack 333 took significant responsibility in making the race fun and exciting, and Andy Frank of Pack 306 helped with the car crowd control, so be sure to commend them for a job well done as you see them around town. Five boys from this race will go on to the Council Pinewood Derby race on May 3rd at the Salisbury Mall. The day was enjoyable for all in attendance with good food, fun, and friends. We welcome the opportunity to do it again next year, and look forward to your ideas and assistance in making the event the best Scout Show in the world!!! |
